FRICTION IS HOW WE KNOW WE’RE ALIVE.

A frictionless life is not a better life. It’s a one-note, flat, colorless life.

One of the best things I ever did for myself was to stop giving a shit about being Perfectly Fixed & Perfectly Healed & Perfectly Regulated.

Those things are not real.

Somewhere along the way, we absorbed this misconception that being regulated means being calm, happy, and steady 24/7, as if the goal is to become a single, unchanging orb of nothingness (lol).

But that’s not regulation.

Being regulated means having the capacity to be with all of life: the friction and the ease, all 88 keys of the human experience.
